Opaque White Films
White opaque greenhouse films are the perfect solution to reducing heat in greenhouse structures. Used in single or double layer applications, Dura-Film® White Opaque Films achieve just the right shade and cooling required for a wide range of horticultural and livestock applications.
Use white film for covering:
- Retail areas
- Roliage Crops
- Animal shelters
- Potting sheds
- Head houses
- Storage areas
- Reflects heat and cools better than shade cloth.
UV stabilized white opaque films are available as an option with the Dura-Film® Super 4 and Dura-Film® Super 1 films.
Dura-Film Super 4 White is available in 24', 32' and 40' widths at 55% opacity. AT Films will be happy to custom cut these widths to the required lengths at any time. No minimums apply. All other widths of Dura-Film®Super 4 White 55% are considered custom products. Custom products are manufacturing during the assigned campaign dates or during any scheduled run, subject to availability. Call Customer Service at 1-800-661-3606 for non-campaign run availability.

The following minimums apply for custom Dura-Film Super 4 White and Dura-Film Super 1 White products:
- For widths of 20' or less, a minimum of 2,000 lbs per order, per width, per gauge and per opacity is required
- For widths greater than 20', a minimum of 5,000 lbs per order, per width, per gauge and per opacity is required Note that the table contains some film opacities that we currently do not offer and are only listed for informational purposes. The results in the table were obtained from actual film test data.
Opacity of Double Poly
The table below is intended as an aid in the selection process when using two partially opaque films on the same structure.
Example (refer to table):
Film A - opacity = 55%,
Film B - opacity = 70%
Opacity of two films combined = 77%
- It does not matter whether film A or B is the outside film.
